Seth Rollins vs Ryback (Non-Title Match)

Result: Rollins def. Ryback (Super Kick)

Rating: 2.6 stars out of 5 stars

Rollins is out with J + J Security. I’m so glad they match their suits now, it looks more official. Rollins grabs a mic shows a clip from last Monday with Kane not helping him as he was being attacked by the other members of the Payback main event.  He says that won’t happen again, since it’s every man for himself at Payback, but he will emerge victorious.

Ryback makes his way to the ring but is attacked by Bray Wyatt. We go to break with Ryback on the ground and Wyatt laughing. The match starts after the break and Ryback says he is good to go in the match. Rollins pushes Ryback to the outside, and while distracting the ref, Mercury and Noble get some shots in on the downed Ryback. Ryback is back in at the count of nine, and kicks out of a DDT from Rollins. Ryback begins making a comeback, but he doesn’t have enough left to make a full comeback. He does manage to hit the champ with a back drop and catch Rollins with a swinging powerslam. Ryback in control, and hits Rollins with a spinebuster for a two count. Ryback has him up for a Shellshocked, but Mercury distracts the ref and allows Rollins to rake the eyes. Rollins hits Ryback with a knee from the top rope, and two super kicks for the victory.

A good match that makes Ryback look like a warrior, and shows he may not be 100% in his first match with Wyatt. Rollins looks like the slippery heel he is.
