Randy Orton discussed his past drug problems in a teaser video for his upcoming DVD.

Early in his WWE career, Randy Orton faced a number of drug problems. He was profiled back in 2007, along with other WWE stars for drug use in WWE that the company claimed preceded their Talent Wellness Policy.

WWE posted a preview of the upcoming WWE Beyond the Ring feature from Randy Orton – The Evolution of a Predator DVD. Orton discussed his problems in the video below.

"“All life was for me for a couple of years was how I was going to get ****ed up, it was pretty dark and gloomy and pretty sad,” Orton said. “I had these problems, I had these things in my life that I was doing that could have potentially killed me.”"

Orton has since overcome his problems by becoming a top star in WWE. He has put together a Hall of Fame caliber career and should rack up a few more title reigns before it’s all said and done for him.

The Viper is coming off a loss at the WWE Payback pay-per-view in a fatal 4-way for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship with Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose. Orton was absent from TV last week for no reason given. Orton is still advertised for Monday’s Raw from Long Island, New York, as of now.
