WWE SmackDown Review: Roman Reigns vs. Sheamus

NXT Championship Match: Zack Ryder vs Kevin Owens (c)

Result: Kevin Owens def. Ryder by pinfall (Pop-Up Powerbomb)

Rating: 2.8 stars out of 5 stars (mainly for the promo)

Match starts with Owens taking the boots to Ryder.. Once Ryder gets the upperhand, Owens ducks to the outside to regain the advantage. Owens caught Ryder with a superkick, followed by a Pop-Up Powerbomb for the quick win. After the win he decimates Ryder with another Pop-Up Powerbomb.

Owens is so great on the mic, he had the crowd hanging on his every word. The match was a squash, but Kevin Owens’ promo beforehand made it much, much better.

Sheamus Interview

The Celtic Warrior is interviewed backstage by Renee who tells Sheamus that people say that Reigns is the favorite for the Money in the Bank match. Sheamus says he should be the favorite because of how he decimated Orton and has been dominating. He quotes Reigns’ “Believe that” to end the segment.
