Kevin Owens (c) vs. Neville

Result: Kevin Owens defeats Neville to retain the NXT Championship.

Owens tries playing mind games with Neville by fleeing the ring, to which the latter man goes to fight him.

The two would get back in the ring with Neville in control. Owens would get the edge with a few moves and a big cannonball for a near-fall.

Owens would continue to beat down Neville for awhile and toss him out of the ring.

We come back to see The Man That Gravity Forgot slowly making a comeback. He countered what looked like an attempted AA from Owens into a beautiful DDT. Neville would hit a top rope moonsault on him as well.

Owens would then hit a move (don’t know the name of it) and nearly get a pinfall. He would try setting Neville up for a pop-up powerbomb but he grabbed onto the ropes. Neville would show off his strength by hitting a suplex on Owens.

Neville would go up for Red Arrow but get knocked off when Owens shook the ropes. He hit a pop-up powerbomb for the win.

After the match, Owens would bring Cena into the ring to seemingly challenge for his US Championship. However, Owens would flee the ring before anything could happen.

Rob’s Note: Solid match that could have been better if it was on a PPV. I didn’t want to see Neville beat clean but Owens is on a meteoric rise with no one defeating him anytime soon.
