4) CM Punk at Extreme Rules 2009

CM Punk won back-to-back Money in the Bank matches at WrestleMania 24 and 25. His second cash-in was arguably the better of the two because no one could see this one coming (the first was against Edge).

Punk cashed in his briefcase against a vulnerable and injured World Heavyweight Champion in Jeff Hardy, who just faced Edge. This shocked many as both were babyfaces at the time. This turned Punk heel, which turned out to be some of his best work. He would call out Hardy for his alcohol and drug use. Plus, Punk created the Straight Edge Society to brag about his straight edge lifestyle.

This cash-in ultimately helped make Punk the star he was known as by the time he left WWE in 2014.
