Money in the Bank Ladder Match for a Future WWE World Heavyweight Championship Opportunity
Randy Orton vs. Roman Reigns vs. Kane vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Sheamus vs. Neville vs. Kofi Kingston

Result: Sheamus grabs the briefcase to become Mr. Money in the Bank.

Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars.

The match would immediately begin with chaos. While everyone was battling, Kingston pulled out a ladder to try to be sneaky but everyone turned to him. All the men in the ring would start climbing the ladder but get pulled down.

Kane and Sheamus would begin battling in the ring until Ziggler joined the fray and got taken out by The Celtic Warrior. The latter would start taking everyone out with a ladder until he started brawling with Orton. Sheamus went outside the ring trying to take out anyone standing up until he saw Kofi on the ladder and pulled him off.

Kofi and Sheamus would begin brawling in the ring until Neville came in momentarily and got taken out. Kingston pulled out the ladder but got stopped by Neville. They both climbed the ladder until Reigns came in and took them out.

Reigns would then powerbomb Kofi into the ladder. He picked up Neville and powerbombed him onto the New Day member!

Reigns started to climb the ladder but got stalled by Kane, who choke slammed him off the ladder. The DOO would start climbing the ladder until Orton returned. He then got hit with a big RKO. Kofi would return and get RKO’d, too.

Orton then hit a massive RKO on Neville and began climbing the ladder until Sheamus returned. The two began brawling in the ring and on the ladder. The Viper would be hit by a Brogue Kick to send him out for awhile.

Ziggler would finally return and begin fighting with Sheamus for the briefcase on the ladder. Dolph would put a sleeper hold while on top of the ladder until the two fell off.

Neville would then hit a huge Red Arrow on Sheamus, leading to loud “N-X-T” chants.

The Man That Gravity Forgot and Ziggler then climbed the ladder, brawling shortly after. Neville would knock him off the ladder and nearly get the briefcase until Kane came in but got superkicked. This left Neville and Ziggler alone until Kane smacked them with a ladder.

Reigns would return and hit a Superman Punch on Kane. With everyone out of the ring, the former Shield man would hit a huge dive over the ropes to take everyone out!

With everyone down, Big E and Xavier Woods would come out to help their buddy, Kofi, get the briefcase. As he climbed the ladder Reigns took his friends out. He would try getting Kofi off the ladder as he kept trying to kick him off. The ladder would fall and he got powerbombed onto everyone. Orton would then come up and get speared, which looked like it was Reigns’ moment.

As Reigns climbed up, Bray Wyatt turned out the lights and hit Sister Abigail on him to cost him the match!

Sheamus would climb the ladder until Neville followed him up and they began brawling. The Celtic Warrior kicked him off and grabbed the briefcase for the win.

Rob’s Note: Reigns did not win, which came as a surprise. Sheamus being next in-line isn’t a major surprise but having him potentially being a future WWE World Heavyweight Champion is interesting. I’m not sure how this is going to work out; if this means him potentially main-eventing shows if he successfully cashes in, I can’t see this going that smoothly. This has potential, though.
