Following the lukewarm response to WWE 2K15 from both fans and reviewers, here are ten features that should be added or improved upon to make this year’s installment an overwhelming success…

As revealed yesterday, the early steps towards the latest WWE video game, WWE 2K16, have taken place with the announcement of the first six playable characters on the roster. The developers have already promised that this will be the deepest roster of talent in the history of the WWE gaming series, which is an exciting proposition. The inclusion of the biggest superstars and divas, as well as the future of NXT and the past of WWE legends combining to give the player a huge variety of options.

However, there is no doubt that 2K games will have to improve on the damp squib that was WWE 2K15. Whilst that effort produced some of the greatest graphics witnessed in a WWE video game, that was the limits of the positives. A lack of replay factors, slow gameplay and the lack of creation centers meant that after completing the initial Showcase mode and a short stint in the NXT career, the game was gathering dust on the shelf for most gamers.

Therefore, here are ten potential improvements the developers should look towards in order to make their latest edition a must have item and leave both the casual fan and critic satisfied.
