4. Greater Match Options

Another significant disappointment from WWE 2K15 was the severe lack of match choices, particularly in staple matches for WWE. Elementary inclusions such as Three Stages of Hell, Tornado Tags and even a standard ladder match were not available. For a Triple Threats there were only three options – Normal, Extreme Rules and Hell in a Cell – not even a Steel Cage match. And considering how much the real WWE loves handicap matches, none of these were allowed in exhibition mode either.

The lack of a creative suite was bad, but this was simply disgraceful. How did the developers think that players were going to find any replay values in the game if the exhibition choices were so pitifully thin. They need to offer more variety to the gamer, otherwise they are simply taking them for granted. It was like they were unwilling to put the effort in for the sake of their fans, or concentrated too greatly on the aesthetics rather than the actual game itself. Hopefully WWE 2K16 remedies this fatal error, and provides more long-term entertainment for the player.
