8. Diva Career Mode

Another massive slap in the face for MyCareer mode last year was the inability to create an upcoming Diva. This is extremely disappointing, especially considering the revolution currently taking place in women’s wrestling from the amazing athletes in NXT. The likes of Charlotte, Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch have made the developmental divas roster incredibly exciting, and so being unable to join their ranks in the career mode was a slap in the face. The Divas division has always been regarded as overlooked in reality, and that attitude seemingly spread into the most recent game.

WWE 2k16 had better not make the same mistake, as this could be an important development not only for their video games, but women’s division in general. The opportunity to mix it up with the ladies of professional wrestling, engage in feuds and allegiances and win the Divas Championship should be made a major selling point of the game if it is included. It would make the game more inclusive to the numerous female fans of WWE and send a message that the women of professional wrestling mean something to this industry.
