Dolph Ziggler w/Lana vs Sheamus
Result: Sheamus def. Ziggler by pinfall (Brogue Kick)
Rating: 2.3 stars out of 5 stars
This match is different than the series we just saw them in because… Ziggler is with Lana and Sheamus now has a shiny briefcase. Sheamus starts off in control of the match, but gets knocked to the outside. The match is a minute old when Rusev comes out on crutches to plead with Lana to come back to him. Lana turns her back on him and he starts cursing at her in Russian. Rusev leaves, and Sheamus is in control as we head to break.
Sheamus is in control of Ziggler as we get back from break, but Dolph hits a huge facebuster off the top rope to Sheamus. Dolph hit a massive superkick, causing Jimmy to yell “superkick party” on commentary. It gets a close two count. Sheamus got Ziggler to be prone on the top rope, hit him with a Brogue Kick and picked up the pinfall.
That match was not the best these two have had. They’ve had much better, and the Rusev interruption was more of an annoyance and not a real great addition.
Rusev Backstage
Rusev yells at an employee for liking Lana. He starts screaming and Summer Rae comes up and tells Rusev that Lana is not worth it. Interesting? We’ll call it interesting.
