WWE Fastlane 2015 – #1 Contender’s Match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship
Roman Reigns defeated Daniel Bryan via pinfall to become the #1 contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

This match came shortly after the debacle that was the Royal Rumble match. People knew it for months and their speculation received confirmation: Roman Reigns would win this match and headline WrestleMania 31.

Since he got such a vicious reaction from the crowd, WWE decided to put him against Daniel Bryan in a #1 contender’s match at WWE Fastlane. This would be to “put over” the former Shield man. Many did not like this idea but it showed that Reigns could hold his own in a match. In doing so, him and Bryan put on a terrific match.

Reigns would officially punch his ticket to WrestleMania in the end and go onto face Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. How did that match go?
