Cena brings up Kevin Owens losing the NXT Championship and says “the champ is here.”
Cena says the person who comes out must bring their A-game because he is the man to beat.
Owens would come out and say this is the worst part of Raw every week because he spews out the same garbage every week. He says Cena’s time is up and wants the US Championship.
Cesaro would come out and say Owens needs to step aside because he’s the rightful challenger. He says he should have beat Cena and Owens won’t be able to. Cesaro says for Owens to leave the ring otherwise he’ll have a problem with him. He would leave shortly after.

- We come back to see the match ongoing with Cena attempting a five knuckle shuffle. Cesaro would avoid it and take him down.
- Cena came back with a dropkick. Cesaro answered that with holding up Cena in the air for a suplex.
- They began trading blows until Cesaro planted with him with a DDT.
- Cesaro would get Cena into a hold as we went to break.
- We come back to see Cena hitting shoulder tackles and going for another five knuckle shuffle, which he missed.
- Cesaro would get Cena into a cross-face, which he got out of. Cena then put on the STF.
- Cesaro would get out of the hold and hit three gut wrench suplexes without letting go of him. Cena barely kicked out of a pin.
- The Swiss Superman hit two big uppercuts on Cena and set him up for a swing. However, Cena countered into a DDT.
- As Cena went to the top rope, Cesaro hit a big dropkick that sent him to the floor. He would hit a third uppercut and roll him into the ring.
- As Cesaro went for a cross-body, Cena caught him and went for the AA. He got out of it but was planted by Mr. HLR again.
- Cesaro would hit a spinning uppercut on Cena for another near-fall.
- Outside the ring, Cesaro would catch Cena and hit a fall away slam into the barricade. Cena responded with dropping him over the barricade into the time keeper’s area.
- Back in the ring, Cena went to the top rope but got hit with another uppercut. Cesaro went for a superplex but got tossed off. Cena hit a flying leg drop for a near-fall.
- Cesaro then hit a huge uppercut in mid-air for another near-fall. Wow!
- Cena picked up Cesaro for a quick AA. Cesaro kicked out again!
- Cesaro would pick up Cena for the swing and put him into the sharpshooter and switched it into the cross-face. Cena reversed this into the STF. Cesaro powered out of it and hit a massive suplex.
- After a missed springboard stunner, Cesaro hit the Neutralizer! Cena would kick out, though.
- Cena would get countered into another cross-face but he dragged himself to the bottom rope.
- While Cena was on the apron, Cesaro hit a ridiculous suplex for another near-fall. Cena countered with a powerbomb but couldn’t capitalize on the pin.
- On the top rope, the two started battling. Cesaro would get him in position for a Neutralizer but Cena got out of it. They started throwing punches but Cena would pick him up and hit an AA for the win.
After the match, Owens came out and attempted a pop-up powerbomb but got hit with an AA.
