The match had a ton of high spots, so I’ll list some of them:

• Huge vertical suplex by Cesaro on the 138 kilo Rusev.
• A Cesaro chant breaking out in the crowd.
• A gorgeous springboard uppercut from Cesaro to start his comeback.
• Rusev cutting off a Cesaro suicide dive with a big right hand.
• Cesaro hitting a dropkick through the bottom and middle ropes to the outside.
• Rusev taking Cesaro’s head off on the outside with a superkick.
• Rusev going to the top rope but getting beaned with an uppcut.
• Cesaro busting out the Neutralizer for the victory and then celebrating by diving into the crowd.

Only the second person to score a pinfall on the main roster, Cesaro delivered a great performance against the Bulgarian Brute. Rusev held his own as well in a good sequel to their great triple threat match. Cesaro and Cena are now the only two people to pin Rusev in televised matches (PPV or TV)

A great match. One of the best I’ve seen since I’ve started doing the SmackDown recaps. Cesaro and Rusev both look strong after their impressive weeks.
