WWE Raw Review: Seth Rollins vs. John Cena
WWE.com
Final Thoughts
This episode of Raw was pretty good throughout. We saw plenty of great in-ring action and only two promos that didn’t wear themselves out.
The focus of the night turned into Rollins and Cena. At first it wasn’t completely positive that these two would lock up at WWE SummerSlam for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. However, after the main event of Cena forcing Rollins to tap to retain the WWE United States Championship, this second main event is on. Given the magnitude of the now four hour show, this will draw viewers on the WWE Network.
Surprisingly, we didn’t see anymore matches get confirmed for SummerSlam. However, we saw plenty being built. Big names like Randy Orton, Sheamus, Cesaro, Kevin Owens, among others look to have a spot on the show. All four men could be involved in a tag match. This would avoid a Sheamus-Orton rematch that fans don’t want to see.
The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar were both not on the show. We know the latter will be on Raw next week so things may continue to escalate.
