WWE Raw Review: Seth Rollins vs. John Cena

Paige Backstage

Paige talks about how much Charlotte and Becky Lynch have been loved by the fans. She says the fans can’t get enough.

Team BAD would come in. Sasha Banks says Stephanie McMahon is the one who made the Divas Revolution happen. She would go back and forth with Paige. Becky said Sasha’s bad attitude isn’t why this is happening.

Paige vs. Sasha Banks

Result: Sasha Banks defeats Paige via submission.

Rating: 3.2 out of 5 stars

Sasha and Paige would swing each other throughout the ring to begin this. Paige would hit her with a knee and get a near-fall. She hit her with multiple punches before Sasha nearly rolled her up.

Sasha got hit with an arm drag and both went for a dropkick. Paige got up and hit a fall away slam for a near-fall.

Paige held Sasha’s arm for a awhile before The Boss hit a knee and elbow to get out of it. Paige hit a superkick that got the NXT Women’s Champion out of the ring.

Paige went to the top rope and took out Team BAD!

We come back to see Sasha in control with a near-fall.

After a hold, Sasha would mock Paige’s “This is my house” chant and do her scream. Paige would counter with a quick roll up attempt.

Sasha got Paige into a straitjacket, which the latter got out of and connected with an elbow. She hit a big knee, lariat and and dropkick.

Sasha would go for double knees but get countered. Paige slammed her to the ground and put her into a hold, which Banks got out of.

Sasha got Paige into the Bank Statement and forced her to tap out.

Rob’s Note: This was a very good match. Sasha vs. Paige could have easily been a pay-per-view match but instead we got an excellent one on Raw.

This may very well be a “Divas Revolution.” The wrestling is already better but the question will be how WWE handles the booking going forward. That was the real issue all along.

Seth Rollins Interview

Rollins mocks Renee young, who said he could “potentially” walk out as WWE United States Champion. He asks Renee who walked out of Battleground with the WWE WHC. He says he has learned everyone’s a critic and questions Cena challenging for his title.
