We get a video package of Rhyno and what he’s done in his wrestling career and in WWE NXT.

NXT Tag Team Championship Match
Blake and Murphy (c) vs. The Vaudevillains

Result: Blake and Murphy defeat The Vaudevillains via pinfall to retain the NXT Tag Team Championship.

Rating: 2.6 out of 5 stars

Simon Gotch and Blake began the match. Gotch missed a dropkick but put Blake into an armbar immediately. He them hit a dropkick for a near-fall. Aiden English came in and nearly got a fall, too.

Blake would gain control with a hold on English. Murphy came in but got taken down with double hip tosses by the Actor.

We come back to see Gotch in control. He tagged in English, who got a near-fall.

Murphy would grab English and stomp on him in his corner. Blake came in but him and his partner got tossed out of the ring.

Blake came back into the ring and hit a kick on English for a near-fall. English would finally get tot Gotch and hit the hot tag.

Gotch went to work on Murphy and hit a big elbow. He connected with a few kicks and rolled up Murphy. He threw him down and tagged in English. They went for the Whirling Dervish but Alexa Bliss grabbed English’s leg. He got pinned by Blake for the win.

After the match, the Vaudevillains got their revenge and hit Whirling Dervish on Blake and Murphy. Alexa was still in the ring and the two circled her in the ring. They held the ropes open for her but she got mad and slapped both English and Gotch. She stepped out on her own and walked away.

Rob’s Note: Looks like we could be getting these teams at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn for the titles. Neither team has had a standout match in WWE NXT so I’m a little concerned for this. All four are solid but unspectacular workers, so thinking they could get on a great match may be wishful thinking.
