Episode 9 – Eat, Sleep & Breathe This Business

Highlights:

With reality setting in that two of the remaining five will get a contract, the cast is visited by actual, recent NXT signees to let them know what the other side is like and how hard they have to work. Endless cutaways to ZZ looking determined or trying to hold in a fart.

The coaches resort to light hazing tactics as they want to see how dedicated the final five really are and test them mentally.

Billy Gunn: “They say you have to eat, sleep and breathe this business. Well, we’re going to do each of those things this week. First, we’re eating. On this table the newest NXT superstars just ate their lunch, but didn’t finish everything. Finish their food, now!”

ZZ wins the challenge. Everyone else, as punishment, goes to sleep without dinner.

Speaking of going to sleep, Lita explains how they have to sleep this business. She books them a room at an Orlando Motel 6 with only one twin bed. All five must sleep on the bed together. No one wins this challenge and they show up groggy the next morning for training.

Finally, Booker T explains how you breathe this business. He then drives up in a mini-van as they all get in and drive to a weekend NXT Live Event at the Cocoa Armory. Booker farts all kind of farts on the way to the event: obnoxious, silent but deadly, rapid fire. All notice and some complain. Sara is the last to say anything so she wins. She also farts back right before they get out of the van to which Booker replies, “Tell me I did not just smell that!”

Back at Full Sail, the judges pick their final 3. Since there are three women left, they each pick a female. For the first time in five weeks, ZZ is NOT in the bottom 3.

Amanda 15%
Gigi 41%
Sara 44%

Paige did save Gigi for being consistently strong throughout the competition, however, the voting showed that the save was moot. The Miz gives Amanda a farewell hug. Maryse comes out and slaps her husband.
