Speaking of Adam Rose, the prospects of valet Rosa Mendes do not look particularly promising either. Mendes has remarkably been a WWE Diva since 2008, and in her seven years on the roster has barely improved.

I don’t feel that is too harsh of a criticism, as she fundamentally cannot wrestle. She can dance, she can talk, she’s a decent actress, and she’s smoking hot, but when it comes to working in the ring, you forget all those aspects due to how hopeless she is. Mendes doesn’t take bumps well, has a move-set that makes Eva Marie look like Chris Jericho, and is still yet to win a match on WWE television.

Mendes’ major saving grace was her place on the cast of Total Divas, as her wild antics were great trashy reality television.

However, now she is no longer on the show, it seems nonsensical how she has lasted so long on the roster. Obviously, the rumors surrounding her relationship with Michael Hayes are enough justification for some fans as to how she has had her job for so long, but with many impressive women’s wrestlers coming through NXT, there is space in need of being filled. And Mendes’ name must be near the top of the list of those surplus to requirements.
