WWE Tough Enough Recap: Spinning a Yarn

Opening Segment

We get a recap of last week’s stunning outcome (Mada got eliminated).

The judges speak to some of the competitors and say what they’re looking to see in the show.

We go to the barracks after last week’s elimination. They talk about how the past two eliminations were surprising. Amanda says she’s happy Miz saved her. Chelsea questions Miz’s reason for saving her but Amanda says it’s not a big deal and brushes her off.

ZZ brings up how everyone wanted him to go home. Tanner and Josh say that he deserves to go home, leading to ZZ lashing out.

We see the competitors training in the ring. ZZ gets berated by Billy Gunn and told to leave the ring. ZZ messes up the hip toss and gets told to leave again. Sara Lee gets some praise.

ZZ is back in the ring and continues to get negative responses.

Sara and GiGi go in the ring and look decent at first until the latter gets dropped on her head.

Chelsea and Amanda go in next. Amanda starts getting mad at Chelsea’s selling, which gets Billy Gunn mad.

Josh and Tanner are next and both do an impressive job. They get praise from the coaches.

In the studio, the judges call out ZZ for his lack of progress in the ring. Paige gets disappointed with Sara Lee for not apologizing for dropping GiGi on her head.

Rob’s Note: Well, that was an interesting opener. ZZ was berated by the judges and coaches. It’s been the case for the first six weeks but everything really showed here. He must be eliminated from the show but at this point, I think Amanda is gone if she’s in the bottom three.
