Charlotte vs. Bayley

Result: Bayley defeats Charlotte via pinfall.

Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars

The two shook hands before the match started.

Bayley began with a long hold before hitting a shoulder tackle on Charlotte, who got up quickly. Bayley then locked up Charlotte’s arm but got countered with a take down and a hold.

They continued to trade holds until Charlotte nearly got a pin. She then wrapped her legs around Bayley’s head, throwing her around the ring.

Bayley then got Charlotte over the ropes. She hit a dropkick through the ropes on the Nature Girl.

Back in the ring, Bayley hit a few shoulder tackles and a hard shoulder to the gut of Charlotte. The latter would respond with a take down for a near-fall.

We come back to see Bayley getting a Sunset Flip, rolling out of it and then had a Figure Four attempted on her. However, she countered with an attempted pin and a take down of Charlotte off the ropes.

Bayley then hit a suplex and put Charlotte on the ropes. She hit a big hurricanrana off the ropes for a near-fall.

The two started to trade blows back and forth until Charlotte hit a neck-breaker and a spear for a near-fall.

Charlotte then put on the Figure Four but Bayley reversed it as the former got to the ropes. After they got up, Charlotte responded with a few chops and Bayley went for a backslide for a near-fall.

Bayley then hit a Bayley-to-Belly! Charlotte kicked out at two, though.

Bayley hit a German Suplex and got another near-fall. Charlotte would respond with throwing her into the turnbuckle.

The two then climbed the ropes and Bayley hit Bayley-to-Belly for the win.

Rob’s Note: That was an awesome match. If anyone ever had a question about if Bayley could headline the NXT women’s division, those should be erased.
