Hernandez vs. Drago

Result: Drago defeats Hernandez via pinfall.

Hernandez began by throwing Drago onto the ropes and getting him out of the ring. The Believers didn’t attack him, though. When Hernendez left the ring, he pushed Drago but got attack by the Believers. They continuously whipped him with belts. He looked to call a timeout as he ran back to the ring.

Back in the ring, Hernandez looked to attack Drago who avoided his moves and took him out with a spin in the air. He kicked him a few times and clotheslined him over the ropes. The Believers then took a beating from the belts again. After one of the Believers went to whip Hernandez, he grabbed the belt and ripped it away.

Hernandez came back in with a shoulder tackle. He caught Drago in the air and powerbombed him.

Hernandez would go for a move off the top rope but Drago got the boots to the former TNA star’s abdomen. He then avoided a clothesline and hit a big DDT. Drago took the legs out from under Hernandez and attempted a Sunset Flip. However, he couldn’t finish this and got attacked.

Hernandez went for Razor’s Edge but Drago countered and nearly got a pin. He connected with the move on a second attempt onto the Believers.

As Hernandez went over the ropes, Drago sprayed mist into his eyes! The Believers then went after Hernandez with the belts.

Drago took out a table and set it up. He then took out nunchucks and hit Hernandez with them multiple times.

With Hernandez on the table, Drago climbed to the top rope and flew through Hernandez, breaking the table!

In the ring, Drago climbed to the top rope and hit a splash for a win.

Rob’s Note: Nothing to argue about here, either. This was intense and displayed some great lucha libre action.

Now the question is if this was Hernandez’s last appearance with Lucha Underground given the headache he gave them and TNA earlier this summer.
