WWE SmackDown Review: Reigns vs Rusev
By Evan Gomes
A video of Rollins talking about breaking Cena’s nose from RAW is shown. The match he had against Neville for the title was such an amazingly worked match. I fell for that near fall with Rollin’s foot on the ropes.
Stardust vs Zack Ryder
Result: Stardust def. Ryder
Rating: 2.3 stars out of 5 stars
Stardust’s interview backstage from last week where he calls out Green Arrow is shown. Stardust has one of the best super-villain voices I’ve heard. He’s got it down. Stephen Amell is announced as the special guest star of RAW next week, so this angle with definitely see some time next week.
Stardust dominates the beginning of the match, and at one point he yells at the announcers telling them his name is Stardust. Ryder gets in a little offence like a top rope dropkick and a Broski Boot. Stardust avoids a Rough Ryder and hits a Queen’s Crossbow for the victory.
Stardust gets on the mic after the match and asks the WWE Universe if they’ve heard the news. He tells the crowd that Stephen Amell is coming next Monday to go one on one with Stardust. Stardust tells Amell to be his hero to end the segment.
Evan’s Notes; The match was unspectacular, a prototypical short match to give Stardust momentum. At the top of the page is Michael Cole’s interview with Statrdust from wwe.com. Give it a view, it’s extremely entertaining.
