WWE Raw Review: Seth Rollins vs. Randy Orton

Rollins welcomes the crowd to Monday Night Rollins. He says he’s the man who broke the face of John Cena.

Rollins says he presented Cena with the opportunity of a lifetime with the title for title match at SummerSlam. He says Cena has not replied and questions why.

Rollins says it’s interesting that Cena hasn’t shown up. He says he can forfeit the WWE United States Championship to “the rightful, true champion.” Rollins says he will win both titles.

He says he’s heard rumors of Cena showing up at Tough Enough tomorrow night. Rollins says Cena isn’t “tough enough” to hang with him. He says he wishes Cena was half the man he said he was.

Rollins then hears that Cena is hear via satellite. He brings up a disgusting picture of Cena on the screen and someone is apparently speaking as him through the screen. The fake Cena says he’s giving up and Rollins says this is the right move because he is a fighting champion.

Rollins talks about his Open Challenge from last week. Cesaro then comes out in a suit and says Rollins has been going on and on and on and on.

Cesaro says he will be the first one inline to challenge Rollins tonight. Rollins says there will be no Open Challenge tonight and it was be a one-night thing.

Kevin Owens then comes out and says Cesaro has done nothing to deserve a title match. He says having a “Cesaro Section” is not good enough. Owens says he has beaten Cena before, which neither Rollins or Cesaro have done. He brings up Rollins tapping out to Cena. He says if anyone deserves a title match tonight, he says he has it “under good authority” that it’s him.

Randy Orton then comes out and says he deserves a title shot.

Rollins says it’s not happening and makes a Tom Brady reference about their shots at a title. He says all that matters is what he thinks and everyone should get out of the ring.

Triple H then comes out and says Rollins had an “interesting choice of words.” He says tonight there will be a triple threat match between Orton, Owens and Cesaro. The winner will compete in tonight’s main event for Rollins’ championship.

Rob’s Note: Wow. We’re getting a number one contender’s match and a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match tonight. These should be great matches that highlight the show. Very much looking forward to this.

The segment overall was fine and fun. Let’s see what else is set up for tonight.
