Opening Segment

We get a look at GiGi’s elimination from last week and a brief preview of what’s to come in this episode.

We go into Full Sail University and see the five remaining competitors and get re-introduced to the judges. The judges briefly say what they’re looking forward to tonight.

We go to the barracks following GiGi’s elimination. Amanda and Sara Lee start talking. Amanda says the WWE Universe has been keeping Sara here and asks her if she feels guilty. Amanda continues with her mind games.

Tanner says he’s tired of ZZ being here because he hasn’t done enough. ZZ says he hasn’t lost everything but realizes he has lost something.

The competitors then meet the judges outside the NXT arena. They have to work with the NXT Superstars to set up the ring for the next NXT show (which occurred last Thursday). The process takes about 2-3 hours, tiring everyone out.

The judges then take the competitors one on one and help them with their finishers.

Sara is first and Billy Gunn questions her about comments made last week that the judges aren’t happy with her. Sara doesn’t have much to say, leading to Billy and Booker T being aggravated.

Lita tells Sara she should do an arm bar and agrees. They teach her to do it and are impressed.

Tanner is next and the judges critique his charisma, which they don’t really see there. He says he can do a cross-body.

He begins doing the cross-body but he doesn’t give any any different expressions. Billy tells him to scream as he jumps and it works. He does the cross-body on Jason Jordan and impressed the judges.

Rob’s Note: I’m a fan of Tanner but I think he’s going home. There’s charisma somewhere in him but fans will take it as a reason to eliminate him and keep ZZ.
