Final Thoughts
This was one of the more enjoyable episodes of SmackDown I’ve seen in a long time. It started with a match which is such a novelty now, and there were very few promos and none of them were long. The promos were quick and to the point, with the exception being the Divas one.
As for the in-ring action it was stellar or above all night. The 6-
Man
Being tag had some comedy but also gave the New Day a solid win. The main event was a great brawl that showcased some of the best workers in the company. The only blip in terms of in-ring performances was the Neville-Dallas match that simply wasn’t given lots of time.
Finally, my biggest issue with SmackDown was not an issue tonight: there were very few recaps for once! Usually it can feel like watching RAW 2.0, but tonight the action was fresh and built on things that happened on RAW instead of just replaying it.

All is right in the world by adding one extra column to the “Uce” counter. Another note: Jerry Lawler was on point with his jokes during the broadcast, including saying that Big Show’s Levis weren’t 501s but 747s. In small doses, I miss that guy.
