Sheamus must defeat Randy Orton

This first topic might not excite many fans, but then again nothing about this match really does in all honesty. Over the past five years, Sheamus and Randy Orton have engaged in numerous contests and feuds, none of which have been particularly memorable. Actually that’s not entirely true, but their most infamous contest after WrestleMania 29 was remembered for the audience deliberately sabotaging it. Nevertheless, it has to be said that their latest clash at Battleground was far better than many expected.

That night, the Viper struck the killer blow with an RKO, and has been the dominant force in this feud for the most part. This trend cannot be allowed to continue at SummerSlam. As it is unlikely this will be a match of the year candidate that people talk about for years, the only significance it has on the immediate future following the event. Sheamus needs a victory over Orton to look strong, as WWE has fallen into the trap to many time of giving a superstar the Money in the Bank briefcase and using that as an excuse to make them look weak until they cash it in. That does not make for a good champion.
