Kevin Owens vs Cesaro gets 15+ minutes
A potential show-stealing encounter, WWE cannot overlook either Kevin Owens or Cesaro by relegating their SummerSlam battle to mid-card filler. Unlike Sheamus and Randy Orton, this rivalry has a freshness and buzz to it that makes fans want to see it. But they are not as concerned about the outcome, no matter how much they may debate it on forums and over Twitter. The most important thing this match must be is long enough to fully expose the talents of the superstars involved, with at least 15 minutes afforded to it. That way, the result begins to pale into insignificance.
Owens and Cesaro could easily pull off at least a Match of the Night showing together, if not Match of the Year at their peak. Both their respective matches against John Cena in recent months demonstrates that fact perfectly, and having worked together on the independent scene before, they will have a solid idea of how to make this contest work. With the hopes of outstanding quality following this meeting closely, it could be the kind of match that is looked on in a few years as a breakout match for both men. Given enough time, the match itself will become famous, and the winner will be of little concern.
