3-Team Divas Elimination Tag Match

Team PCB (Paige, Charlottes & Becky Lynch) vs Team B.A.D. (Naomi, Sasha Banks & Tamina) vs Team Bella (Alicia Fox, Nikki & Brie Bella)

Result: Brie eliminates Tamina (Team B.A.D. out); Becky eliminates Nikki (Team Bella out)

Winners: Team PCB (Paige Becky Lynch & Charlotte)

Match starts with Brie Bella and Becky Lynch and Brie immediately goes Brie mode and hits a running knee. Tamina tags herself in and hits a super kick on Brie. Team B.A.D. Go to work on Becky Lynch in the corner. Naomi hits a big leg drop to Lynch and Banks and Tamina continue the attack as well, knocking Lynch to the outside. Charlotte runs around the outside and hits Tamina with a spear, but then the other members of Team B.A.D. do diving sentons to the group on the outside. The Bella Twins hit twin suicide dives as well. Fox and Paige do battle on top of the turnbuckle and then Paige hits a senton to the rest of the match on the apron.

Brie tags herself in by tagging Lynch, and Brie hits a facebuster which eliminates Tamina and Team B.A.D. Early. Paige and Nikki end up in the ring together and Paige takes control of the Divas champ with a fallaway slam and a series of knees. Paige went for a baseball slide but got caught, and hit with a huge Alabama Slam onto the arena floor. Paige manages to get back in at the count of 9.

The Bella twins continue to tag in and out working over Paige. Brie hits the kicks made famous by her husband Daniel Bryan but almost gets caught with a roll-up. Fox comes in and hits her flawless northern lights suplex. The Bellas continue to mock Paige while she tries to reach to her corner for the tag. Paige manages to fight off the members of Team Bella with some forearms and knees, and hits the hot tag to Charlotte. Flair’s daughter destroys Team Bella and nails Alicia Fox with a spear. She locks in the Figure Eight but it’s broken up by Nikki Bella. Paige spears Nikki to the outside, and Alicia and Charlotte hit each other with big boots.

Both girls get hot tags to Nikki and Becky respectively, who go to work in the ring. Brie goes for a big kick but misses. Becky Lynch catches Brie with a pumphandle slam for the victory.

Evan’s Note: A good well worked match by the Divas division, but it had some strange booking decisions. Knocking out Team B.A.D. so early was strange, plus the finish of the match seemed to come out of nowhere. The actual match action was good though with some great dives and spots like the Alabama Slam on the arena floor. Another good match on the SummerSlam card.
