Neville, Stardust and King Barrett
Barrett and Stardust were about to take on Neville and his partner but before it started, Stardust attacked Barrett, turning the latter face?
Neville then came out and sent Stardust fleeing.
Jon Stewart Explains
“Thank you, Stewart” chants echoed the Barclays Center.
Stewart says he did upset people last night (he hit John Cena with a chair). He says some were happy (crowd cheers). He says to those who were unhappy, it was not to help Rollins retain his title, it was not to help The Authority, it was because he could not let Cena tie Ric Flair’s World Title record.
Flair then comes out. WOO!
Flair says he appreciated what Stewart was thinking last night. But Flair says he was pulling for Cena, leading to the fans booing. He says he wants Cena to break his record because he respects him.
Flair says Stewart has messed up everything, leading to Cena coming out.
Cena says he has to talk to Stewart. Cena says Stewart did what he did because he thought it was the right thing to do. He says he’s at peace with what Stewart did. He asks Stewart if he realizes that Seth Rollins owns two titles.
Cena says he used the US Title as an opportunity for other Superstars and now it’s taken away. Stewart says it was a beautiful match and respects Cena for being a fighting champion. However, as good as he is, Stewart says he couldn’t see Cena tying the record.
Cena then picks up Stewart and hits an AA on him. He would get helped out of the ring.
Rob’s Note: Well then, that was interesting. There goes Stewart and one would think this is a Cena heel turn but it didn’t quite look like it.
Could Cena win back the U.S. Title tonight?
