Miz TV with Dolph Ziggler & Lana
Miz shows a recap of the incident Monday night where Summer was in Ziggler’s dressing room. Miz brings out “the real victim” first and introduces Summer Rae who has a huge bruise on her face. Summer says Dolph invited her into his locker room, but says that what she said before was a lie. She says when he went to Dolph’s locker room he brought Summer close in his arms and kissed her. Summer begins crying because she has the most amazing man in Rusev and that’s why she ran out of the locker room. Ziggler and Lana interrupt Summer as she is blubbering.
Ziggler says that he understands Miz is trying to stir the pot, just like he tries to be a wrestler and talk show host and actor, but just like Miz main-eventing WrestleMania, he isn’t buying it. Ouch. Ziggler says he trusts Lana and they trust each other. Lana says her and Ziggler have tons of chemistry and have been on and off forever. Summer says there is something Lana needs to see., and it’s a clip from when Summer was feuding with Fandango in June 2014 and she made out with Ziggler and Dolph kissed her back.
Summer starts listing all the times they’ve kissed and Lana jumps her once she’s heard enough. Ziggler separates the two Divas and Lana storms off to the back without Dolph. Summer screams at Lana as she leaves and says she can’t handle the truth.
Evan’s Note: Interesting to see where this angle is ending. Lana may end up being the independent bad-ass she was when she first started with Rusev when she was calling all the shots. Where that leaves Ziggler in all of this is lost on me though.
Also WWE calling all the way back to June of last year to help with a current angle? Great job WWE Creative on keeping a little continuity with your angles. Do that more often and we can all get more invested.
