Final Thoughts
Another week and another solid episode of SmackDown. Some excellent mid-card angle advancement happened with Stardust getting his own henchmen in the previously lost Ascension. As well the vicious side of Bo Dallas was on display which will give him some direction moving forward.
The tag matches that bookended the show were both great contests with talented teams. As I mentioned before, the tag division is on the verge of a great run with talented teams abound. The match with Cesaro and Sheamus was a hard-hitting battle between two sluggers that kept some continuity with the injured ribs of Cesaro playing a major part in the match.
Seth Rollins is the only thing that was missing from this stellar episode of SmackDown. If he was smugly there to even conduct a backstage interview it would’ve made it that much better. However, the attention to mid-card feuds and superstars made this episode a standout one as WWE continues to hit it out of the park.
