Seth Rollins’ year-plus rule over WWE was the best move for the business moving forward, but how exactly has Rollins gotten so good, so quickly?

The June 2 episode of Monday Night Raw last summer turned the tide for the business in the most positive way possible. Seth Rollins turned on his Shield brethren, and joined the likes of Triple H, Randy Orton and The Authority.

The Shield were as hot as any stable in recent memory, but you could sense that things were going to change around the time Rollins laid out Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns with those devastating steel chair shots on Raw last June.

Not only was Rollins turning the right move, the booking for Rollins’ heel turn was brilliantly done. In the weeks leading up to the turn, it was Dean Ambrose who was the one that appeared to be turning on his fellow Shield members.
