Seth Rollins is “The Man” in WWE

After Rollins’ shocking cash-in to win the gold (one of my favorite moments in WWE history), the train wasn’t stopping. Rollins became the face of an entire company, and he’s passing the test with flying colors … and then some.

Since WrestleMania, Rollins has beaten the likes of Randy Orton, Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar (on a technicality of course, because Brock isn’t human), and more recently, John Cena.

When the champ’s been given to showcase his talents, there isn’t anyone better in the business. He’s got the looks, the persona, the brass behind him, and all of the gold. (Well, not all of it, but most of it. Ask The New Day.)

He’s carried WWE programming since his arrival atop the WWE mountain, flashing all kinds of brilliance on a weekly basis. Feuding with Jon Stewart, then Stewart coming full circle to help Rollins win Cena’s U.S. title last month? In terms of the IWC, I marked out hard.

With not one, but two title matches at Night of Champions, Seth Rollins gets to once again showcase his talent against two of the biggest superstars in wrestling’s history. If you would have told Seth Rollins that he would be facing Sting and John Cena at the same pay-per-view just a year prior, he probably would have laughed in your face.

If you also told him he would receive his own statue, he would probably walk away from the entire conversation without hesitation.
