Apollo Crews is interviewed by Devin Taylor. Apollo says in Brooklyn and last week he says he could feel the Apollo Nation with him. He says the Apollo Nation is going to take over NXT.
Bayley Super Fan
Izzy, Bayley’s super fan, is shown being shown around the WWE Performance centre with Bayley. Gotta love when WWE does good stuff like this, and Izzy is probably my favorite “famous fan” right now. Bayley is announced to return next week on NXT.
Lucha Dragons vs. Finn Balor and Samoa Joe
Result: Finn Balor and Samoa Joe defeats Lucha Dragons via pinfall (Coup de Grace).

Tom Phillips and Jimmy Uso are on commentary for this match that was taped a while ago when WWE was in Providence, Rhode Island.
Balor starts the match up against Sin Cara amidst some NXT chants. Sin Cara and the NXT champ start with some chain wrestling Balor eventually gets the upper hand and hits a huge dropkick followed by a slingblade to Sin Cara. Both Lucha Dragons get sent to the outside, and Balor hits a diving plancha over the top rope to both Lucha Dragons on the outside as we go to break.
Back from break and Joe is in the match taking it to Sin Cara with a flurry of strikes in the corner. Balor gets tagged back in and hits a series of knife edge chops to the luchador Sin Cara. The Lucha Dragons begin to work some quick tags and manage to ground the NXT champ. Kalisto hits a flipping splash for a two,
Balor manages to catch Sin Cara with a jump kick, and then gets a hot tag to Samoa Joe. Joe drives Sin Cara into the turnbuckle and hits an enziguri in the corner. He hits a senton to Kalisto when he tries to interfere, and then continues to work on Sin Cara again. Sin Cara manages to hit a springboard moonsault to Finn Balor, and tries to do the same to Joe. Samoa Joe reverses it and tries to go for the Muscle Buster but can’t get it. Kalisto blind tags himself in, and Sin Cara dives to the outside onto Joe. Kalisto hits a hurricanrana and gets a two count. He goes to for a dive to the outside but gets caught by Samoa Joe. Joe hits a Muscle Buster, followed by a Coup De Grace from Balor for the pinfall victory to end NXT this week.
Evan’s Note: A fantastic and well-worked match between 4 NXT stars of past and present. The Providence crowd was very into the matchup and the finish was well done. The Lucha Dragons don’t need to be in the tag team tournament since they’ll be on the main roster. As well it continues the partnership between Balor and Samoa Joe, which may lead to an angle down the line between the two for the title.
