Cesaro vs. Miz
Result: Cesaro defeats Tge Miz via submission (Sharpshooter).
Rating: 2.8 out of 5 stars
Cesaro still has his ribs taped up as he continues to sell his injury. Miz immediately goes right back to the injured ribs of Cesaro, but Cesaro gets control and delivers a hip toss to Miz. Cesaro mocks Miz’s sunglasses taunt before hitting a two foot stomp to the A-Lister.
Miz regains control with a cheap shot to the ribs, and drives his shoulder into Cesaro’s midsection to continue to injure the ribs. He grinds down Cesaro with a submission hold, but Cesaro powers out into a vertical suplex. Miz kicks the ribs of Cesaro to regain the upper hand, but gets his Figure 4 Leg Lock attempt reversed into a pin. Miz manages to kick out at 2. Cesaro reverses a kick by Miz into a Sharpshooter and gets the submission victory.
Evan’s Note: Good to see Cesaro get a win. The victory seemingly came out of nowhere which is a rarity on WWE programming. The transition for the Sharpshooter was excellently done, proving how smooth of a mechanic Cesaro really is in the ring.
