Lucha Dragons vs. The Ascension w/ Stardust
Result: The Ascension defeats Lucha Dragons via pinfall (Fall of Man).
Rating: 2.7 out of 5 stars
Viktor starts the match against Sin Cara. Sin Cara hits a springboard moonsault early and tags in Kalisto. Konnor gets hit by a handspring kick from Kalisto.Stardust gets a distraction on Kalisto after Sin Cara gets taken out on the outside. Kalisto gets hit with an STO from Viktor and then the Fall of Man. Konnor covers the luchador for the victory.
The three men take out the Lucha Dragons after the match, but Neville comes out to make the save.
Evan’s Note: Exciting stuff to see Stardust give the Ascension a sense of direction. Viktor and Konnor are a talented team that is much better than their main roster debut indicates. They were buried from the beginning by dinosaurs from the Attitude Era and never given a fair chance. Now they have a good shot on the main roster and Stardust gets to continue his super villainy.
