  1. Street Fight/Extreme Rules Match

At number 17 on our list is a type of match that one promotion made famous, and  made a lot of money from in the process. ECW prided itself on being edgy, violent and dangerous. It was that extreme type of wrestling that sparked the Attitude Era and the edgy programming that we saw on weekly WWE TV.

The match where rules go out the window. A Street Fight/Extreme Rules Match is saved for when two superstars absolutely cannot stand each other, and they want to destroy each other. There are some limitations to this match, which is why it finds itself so high on the list. It still brought us some amazing moments, and is a staple of WWE TV today.

Another match type that defined the Attitude Era, the Street Fight became the Extreme Rules match after ECW was relaunched and after the WWE decided to dedicate an entire PPV to the concept, aptly named Extreme Rules.

It is that dilution that puts the Extreme Rules/Street Fight Match at number 17. We are still given some great spots during these matches, as the performers do their thing to make the fans leave the arena happy.
