John Cena vs. Sheamus

Result: John Cena defeats Sheamus via pinfall.

Rating: 3.2 out of 5 stars

Sheamus started off with a hold until Cena hit a dropkick. Sheamus responded with an elbow and dumped Cena outside the ring.

We come back to see Sheamus in control of Cena and nearly got a pinfall. Cena tried working some offense but Sheamus put him into a chin lock. Cena then fought back with the five knuckle shuffle and went for the AA. It was countered but Cena hit a tornado DDT for a near-fall.

Cena went for the AA but Sheamus countered and hit a move for a near-fall. He then put Cena into the Cloverleaf but he crawled to the rope.

Sheamus then hit ten punches on Cena’s chest. Sheamus went for White Noise but it got countered into the STF. The Celtic Warrior would crawl to the rope.

Cena then took a page out of Sheamus’ book and hit ten punches to the chest. Cena went for the AA but Sheamus countered into a running high knee.

Sheamus set up for the Brogue Kick but got hit with a clothesline by Cena.

The two then traded punches in the middle of the ring. Cena then went for the AA but Sheamus countered into a suplex for a near-fall.

Cena then planted Sheamus and put on the STF. He pulled Sheamus into the middle of the ring but it got reversed into an attempted White Noise. Cena then hit an AA for the win.

Rob’s Note: Very good match, better than anything Sheamus put on with Randy Orton.
