12) Batista (c) vs. The Undertaker – World Heavyweight Championship Match, Survivor Series 2007

The build for this match was a bit of a mess. Batista and Undertaker had battled at WrestleMania 23 for the World Heavyweight Championship and were probably going to battle for it again in a rematch. However, Undertaker went out with an injury and missed time. This led to The Great Khali having a run with the belt until Batista won it off him. Then Undertaker returned to rekindle this feud and set up this Hell in a Cell match.

This match had plenty of back and forth, brutal action. Batista hit a Batista Bomb through a table and Undertaker two Tombstone Piledrivers. One of these happened on the steel steps.

Batista was seemingly done until Edge, who was dressed as a cameraman, came into the ring to break up Undertaker’s pinfall. Edge bashed in the Dead Man’s head multiple times to end his chances at the World Heavyweight Championship. Batista would get the pinfall.

The spots in this match were unique and innovative from Batista and Undertaker. This was also just ‘Taker’s second loss inside the steel structure.

Plus, the dramatics from Edge at the end set up a great feud and even a Hell in a Cell match of their own that’s one of the better ones.
