John Cena Defeats Seth Rollins for the WWE United States Championship
One of the final matches of Night of Champions featured John Cena vying for the WWE United States Championship he lost to Seth Rollins at WWE SummerSlam. It was the “mandatory” rematch.
The match that Cena and Rollins put on at SummerSlam was a definite match of the year candidate. These two pulled out a bunch of impressive offensive moves that made the Barclays Center crowd go wild. Did they do it again?

This match may not have been as good as their first encounter but it was great and arguably the match of the night. Rollins pulled out moves we saw last month and made fans chant “This is Awesome.” However, Rollins would not be able to retain the title as Cena won with the AA. It capped an impressive bout and one we hopefully see down the line since these two work so well together.
Rollins would also go onto retain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of Night of Champions.
