6-Man Tag Match: New Day vs. Neville and Lucha Dragons

Result: New Day defeats Neville and Lucha Dragons via pinfall (Running Knee).

Rating: 2.75 out of 5 stars

New Day talks about how on October 3rd they will get rid of the Dudley Boyz for good. Big E calls them D-Von and Booty Ray Dudley, and Woods talks about them saving the tables once and for all. Bless the New Day and their entrance promos.

The match gets underway with Neville starting against Kofi. Kalisto and Neville have some awesome tag team moves to start the match with their high-flying ability. New Day regroups on the outside as we go to break.

Back from Break and Big E is laying into Kalisto. New Day uses their classic stomps and quick tags to isolate Kalisto on their half of the ring while Woods plays the trombone on the outside. Kalisto manages to get a hot tag to Sin Cara who uses springboard attacks to take out Woods. The Lucha Dragons and Neville manage to send the New Day to the outside. Kalisto and Neville hit moonsaults to the outside while Sin Cara does a plancha and the entire New day falls. Woods comes into the ring and Sin Cara gets distracted by Kofi pulling on his leg. Sin Cara turns around into a knee from Woods who pins Sin Cara for the win.

After the match, New Day celebrates on the announce table with the trombone and their tag titles.

Evan’s Note: This was not the best match because most of the action seemed to be during commercial. New Day’s antics were really fun as usual, and the moonsaults were very impressive from the “lucha heroes.” It will be interesting to see if the partnership between Neville and his masked luchador friends continues after their run-ins with the Cosmic Wasteland.

Dean Ambrose vs Seth Rollins is plugged for the main event again. Remember when Ambrose couldn’t get his hands on Rollins? Seems like forever ago as these guys seem to square off a lot now.
