Emma and Dana Brooke vs. Peyton Royce & Billie Kay
Result: Emma and Dana Brooke defeated Peyton Royce and Billie Kay via pinfall.
Rating: 2.75 out of 5 stars
Brooke starts off against Royce, who attempts a series of pinning combinations on Brooke for two counts. Royce and Billie hit a double team kick to Dana, but Dana kicks out at two. Emma gets tagged in and gets controlled by Billie Kay. Dana distracts Billie and lets Emma get the upper hand. Dana gets tagged in and slams Billie. Dana yells at the ref for not counting fast enough. Emma and Billie are in the ring and Emma grounds Billie with a leg scissors.
Billie hits a big boot to Emma and gets the hot tag to Peyton Royce. She hits high kicks and drop kicks to Dana. Peyton tries to leap off the second rope but botches and misses. Dana goes for the pin and Peyton kicks out at two. All the women end up in the ring, and Billie and Emma get sent to the outside. While ref’s back is turned, Emma takes out Peyton’s legs. Dana hits her finisher for the victory.
Evan’s Note: I like that Royce & Billie were given matching attire. It made for a better tag team feel during what was a decent tag match. That was a bad botch by Peyton, though.
Jordan & Gable Interview
Devin Taylor interviews Jason Jordan (who tells her to call him JJ) and Chad Gable. She asks them how they will overcome the odds of facing Corbin and Rhyno. JJ says it’s actually Rhyno and Corbin who need to be overcoming them. Gable says it doesn’t matter who they face, and that it’s not likely they’ll face Dash and Dawson.
Dash and Dawson interrupt and say that the last time they saw Jordan and Gable was when they were being pinned in Brooklyn during the eight man tag. The two teams argue to end the segment.
