For some people, man-buns work. And those people are women. Ballerinas, dancers, Nancy Kerrigan, Lana. For men? The jury is still out, but this has all the ingredients of being as cool as the ‘Dad-Bod.’ If we put a positive spin on it, even though it’s underwhelming and shoulder shrug-inducing, maybe people will like it anyway.

While the man-bun will not harm another human being, it can ruin one’s image in the eyes of authority, similar to if one covered their entire face with tattoos (foreshadowing). During Tough Enough, we thought the man-bun was local only to Josh. Not even ZZ could copy it, instead going for Swiss Alp braided pig tails. However, during a promo from this week’s NXT, there stood Rhyno and Baron ‘Man-Bun’ Corbin. The chemistry between Rhyno and Corbin has been clear, but if there’s one thing that could lessen one’s machismo is going for the fun of the bun.

And back of the head buns are not man-buns. Sorry, Chris Hemsworth and Jared Leto. We’re talking Josh, we’re talking Baron Corbin, we’re talking the end of masculine days.
