Result: Dudley Boyz def. Kane & Rollins by DQ
Rating: 2.8 stars out of 5 stars
Bubba Ray starts off against Kane, who is wrestling in a shirt and tie. Kane’s ankle gimps out and Rollins tags himself in.
The Dudleyz take control of Rollins, who tags Corporate Kane back in. D-Von goes to work on the injured leg of Kane. D-Von doesn’t see Kane make a blind tag back in and catches him with a clothesline. Rollins and Kane are working well together as we go to commercial.
Back from break and D-Von is in trouble against Kane and Rollins. Kane’s leg buckles and he can’t stand, so he tags back in Rollins. Kane asks for the ringside doctor, and Rollins runs over and handcuffs Kane to the ring post. Kane gets free and is taken to the back for medical attention.
In the ring, Rollins is irate at Kane for leaving, and D-Von goes for a roll-up but Rollins kicks out. Bubba Ray gets the hot tag and sets Rollins up for the Whassup. D-Von hits it, and Bubba tells him to get the tables. The Dudleyz go to grab one, but Rollins kicks the table back into the Dudleyz faces to cause the disqualification.
Rollins grabs his title and tries to get away, but Demon Kane returns and takes out Rollins with a big boot. The Dudleyz roll back into the ring and hit a 3D as payback for SmackDown where Kane chokeslammed both Dudley Boyz. Rollins gets up with Kane laid out in the ring.
Rollins grabs the table and rolls back into the ring. Rollins stands over Kane, and Kane reaches up and grabs Rollins for a chokeslam. Rollins tries to escape, but gets chokeslammed through a table by Kane.
Evan’s Note: This was a great way to continue this feud. Rollins is too cocky, Kane is a monster, and the Dudleyz got their revenge for SmackDown. Plus, by acknowledging what happened on SmackDown it makes the show that much more relevant.
