Finn Balor: 3 Stars Who Could Join “Balor Club” at NXT TakeOver: Respect

Corbin was being built up for a while by squashing the lowest Superstars on the card until the fans turned on him. He then defeated Rhyno at NXT TakeOver: Unstoppable but lost to Samoa Joe at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn. The second loss put Corbin at a point where no one knew what would be next for him.

However, Corbin joining the Balor Club would give him plenty to do.

If the former NFL player joins this group, he could also provide that bodyguard-like presence for Finn Balor. Plus, Corbin could continue to be built up as Balor’s sidekick and develop his wrestling behind the scenes since he won’t be all alone in the spotlight anymore.

Corbin wouldn’t have to be the worker of the group like Rhyno. The former can continue to squash opponents while drawing heat, which will be needed since Balor may still get a face reaction from the crowd.

One thing to note from this is that Corbin and Rhyno are partners in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tonight. If they win their match, they could face Balor and Joe in the finals. More on this later.
