Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Semi-Finals Match
Finn Balor and Samoa Joe vs. Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson

Result: Finn Balor and Samoa Joe defeat Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson via pinfall.

Rating: 3.3 out of 5 stars

The match begins with Balor bring kicked out of the ring. Joe went to work on Wilder immediately with punches before the latter got an edge with punches and stomps of his own.

Dawson would tag in and hit multiple elbows and punches on Joe. He eventually got taken down by Joe and Balor tagged in. Balor would hit two chops and a big dropkick. He then flew over the ropes for a huge dive on Dawson and Wilder.

Balor would go for Coup de Grace but Wilder and Dawson got out of it. Dawson would hit a chop block on Balor to injure his leg.

Wilder and Dawson would begin tagging in and out to work on Balor’s knee. Dawson would put on a half-crab. Balor began working back with a punch and kick of Dawson out of the ring. As Balor went to make the tag, Joe was pulled down from the ring. It led to Dawson hitting an elbow from the top rope for a near-fall.

Balor started to work back again by launching Dawson shoulder first into the turnbuckle. Balor then made the hot tag to Joe who hit multiple big kicks on Wilder and a senton.

Joe would hit a Muscle Buster and Balor hit Coup de Grace for the win.

Rob’s Note: This was a solid tag match. It had great storytelling and even teased some tension between Balor and Joe that could mean more later on tonight in the DRTTC.
