Rusev w/ Summer Rae vs Ryback

Result: Ryback defeated Rusev via pinfall (Shellshock).

Rating: 2.75 out of 5 stars

Kevin Owens is out on commentary for the match between two of his potential opponents. King asks Owens if he’s going to run away from his title defense against Ryback at Hell in a Cell, and Owens responds by asking King if it looks like he runs many places. One day in the far off future, Owens is going to be a great color commentator.

Ryback gets out to an early start and takes control of the Bulgarian Brute. Ryback gets bumped to the outside, but gets his hand caught in the ropes. Ruseve begins to focus on the hand of Ryback, smashing it off of stairs and the announce table.

Rusev dominates Ryback for a long time, but Ryback hits a belly to belly suplex to get a small bit of momentum back. Ryback goes for a powerbomb, but Rusev uses his power to turn it into an Alabama slam. Rusev begins to look for the Accolade, but Ryback gets out-of-the-way. He hits the Shellshock on Rusev for the pinfall victory.

Evan’s Note: Ryback’s pre match promos are verging into Ultimate Warrior level of crazy. Might blow a gasket. These two have big power matches, but Rusev’s agility makes them a good match.
