3. It’s still a work in progress of Bayley, but she’s ready to carry the NXT women’s division
Once again, there was a spot in a Bayley-Sasha Banks match-up that scared the hell out of me. During a spot where Bayley threw a couple of arm-hip tosses, Banks practically landed on her neck and even the NXT commentary booth pointed it out.

I don’t want to make it seem like Bayley’s a bad wrestler, because she’s not by any means. But, there’s a reason why Charlotte, Paige, Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks got the call to the main roster. (Well, technically, there’s two reasons, along with Bayley’s hand injury a while back.)
Bayley’s character connects with fans extremely well. Finn Balor and Kevin Owens’ thoughts on Bayley during the NXT All-Star Panel described Bayley perfectly. “When she [Bayley] enters the arena for a show, the happiness of the entire room is infectious. It even gets to me,” Owens said. She’s a genuine good person and her character is perfect for her personality. (I’m a Hugger too, Bayley.)
Bayley’s still a work in progress inside the ropes. She’s a good wrestler, but personally, I still have my concerns with her. It’s nothing major nor am I bashing her ability, because she’s earned this title run. Plus, she’s needed in NXT. The division is limited in talent due to the other members of the “Four Horsewomen” getting called up. She’s only going to get better.
