Who are this week’s movers and shakers in the Daily DDT WWE Power Rankings?

More from WWE

It’s not uncommon for a week to go by in the WWE without much changing.

It’s a source of frustration for many, myself included. With so much talent on the roster and so many hours of weekly programming on air, you’d think the WWE would be able to advance multiple storylines in anticipation of the upcoming pay-per-view each month. For example, instead of giving us another week of Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt—one of the better stories heading in to Hell in a Cell, but one that already has all the build-up it needs—maybe a new story could start taking shape involving, say, Cesaro or Stardust.

The past week in the WWE was an in-depth recap at best. Here’s what has already been established:

  • Corporate Kane/Demon Kane is terrorizing Seth Rollins
  • Undertaker and Brock Lesnar are going to end their massive feud at HIAC, within the Hell in a Cell structure, nonetheless
  • Bray Wyatt and Roman Reigns are also going to end their massive feud at HIAC, within the Hell in a Cell structure, nonetheless
  • Team (N)PCB is imploding on the eve of Charlotte’s first title defense against Nikki Bella
  • Ryback has a rematch with Kevin Owens for the Intercontinental Championship at HIAC
  • The Dudley Boyz have a rematch with The New Day for the WWE Tag Team Championship

Here’s what’s new:

  • Dean Ambrose and Randy Orton are going to have to put their egos aside when they face Luke Harper and Braun Strowman at HIAC
  • Rusev got engaged to Lana in real life so his wrestling lover, Summer Rae, broke up with him

Four weeks.

Four weeks of programming in the books and that’s how far we’ve come since Night of Champions. That’s twenty hours of TV time between Raw and Smackdown alone, not factoring in Main Event or the countless videos on the WWE YouTube channel.

And there’s still a week and a half to go.

As a result of such stagnancy, there weren’t a lot of major shifts in this week’s WWE Power Rankings, but there was some shuffling. Here we go:

Note: These rankings take into account everything from WWE programming from the past week: Storylines, match quality, championships, and wins and losses are all in play. Performances tracked are based off of Raw, Smackdown, Main Event and other weekly specials, excluding NXT. To be included on this list, a Superstar must be listed on the current WWE.com Superstars roster.
