Jonathan Gresham vs. Matt Riddle

This is Riddle’s on-screen wrestling debut.

Riddle and Gresham began this match by trying to take each other down with a hold but neither could connect. Riddle picked up Gresham into the corner but was backed off by the referee. He put multiple long holds on Gresham until the latter got a hold around Riddle’s head with his legs.

Riddle and Gresham would lock hands but the former’s size was overpowering. Gresham and Riddle would do a double bridge. Gresham did a hurricanrana but Riddle caught him for the near-fall. The two would try to roll each other up over and over but nothing worked. Riddle then locked in Gresham’s arm for the submission win.

Chris Dickinson came out after the match and said he won’t let someone new takeaway an opportunity from him. Riddle responded he doesn’t even know who Dickinson is. He called everyone another stepping stone and said there’s nothing anyone can do to stop him.

Riddle said Dickinson wouldn’t take a second away from him tonight. Dickinson would slap him and kick down the manager who tried signing Riddle to a contract. Tracy Williams would come out to confront Dickinson and it looks like we’re getting a match between the two.
